Education for IDP Children

Education is of utmost importance for a people to develop and survive. A race without educated people can be easily manipulated and exploited until the race is annihilated from the face of the planet. The Burmese SPDC regime is systematically destroying the Karen race by forcing villagers to flee from their homes and let children lose their opportunity of getting even basic education. The irony is that even some unscrupulous Karens are lured into their scheme and have joined hands with them in destroying schools, hospitals and even places of worship.
But there are many young Karens who know that education is the main ingredient in the development of a people.

The pictures below show volunteers doing field work teaching at temporary shelters for refugees displaced during June 2009 offensive on KNLA Brigade 7 in Pa-An District.
